Schedule & Event Info

Because GMG is an Outdoor Race, Time Onlys Start at 5:00ish. The race starts after TO's—Shoot for 6:00ish. (Late TO's to be run inside Barn)

Order of Events:

  1. Open Barrels (run 1st)

  2. Ranch Horse Barrel Race

  3. Youth, Jr. & Peewee Barrels

  4. Open and Youth Poles

Entry Fees:

​

  • Open Barrels, Poles – $25 (Any Age)

  • Ranch Horse Race – $15 (Any Age)

  • Jr. & Youth Barrels, Poles – $15 (Up to 12 | 13–17)

  • Peewee – $10 (Up to 7 yrs old - No other class entries)

  • Leadline – Free (Any age)

Note:   There is a $10 office per rider fee for Open, Ranch, Jr. and Youth. For series entry, age is based on your age at the first series race.

Payout & Prizes

  • 80% Payout

  • Open: Less than 20 Riders = 3D | 20 or more Riders = 4D (points for series always figured on 4D)

  • Buckles for each Barrel division and place prizes after the last race of the series.

This will be the first ever evening series offered at the Go Momma Go Arena. It will be a learning curve for the Thompson Family while we figure out how it will work with everyone's schedule, including ours. We wish to keep the outdoor tradition in the big arena, BUT... depending on weather and sunset times, the Youth, Jr., and Peewee Barrels and the Pole Classes may be moved to the indoor under the lights.
